You are given three consecutive attempts to achieve a passing score on all four sections of the ExAC. If you do not pass all four sections on your first attempt, you must register for the next exam sitting and rewrite all failed sections.
If you fail one or more sections again, you will be granted one final attempt at the next scheduled sitting.
If you fail a section on your third attempt, you will have to rewrite all four sections of the ExAC at a future sitting, as if you were a first-time candidate.
If you fail one or more sections and do not register to retake it/them the subsequent year, it will count as additional failed attempt(s).
