You are entitled to a refund of 75% of registration fees paid if your request is received more than 21 days prior to the examination date.
Within 21 days or less prior to the examination date, no refund will be granted.
Exceptional Circumstances
If exceptional circumstances on the day of the exams prevent you from writing one or all of the sections of the ExAC (or if there were circumstances that adversely affected your performance during the exam), you must provide details in writing to your licensing authority within 30 days following the exam sitting.
Upon approval by the CExAC, you may be refunded the full amount for the section(s) not written, and/or granted an extra attempt to pass the ExAC.
Exceptional circumstances include the death of a family member, personal illness or unforeseeable difficulty. Scheduling issues or unforeseen circumstances that are related to work are not considered exceptional circumstances.
Weather Conditions
The exam will proceed regardless of weather conditions. No refund will be issued if you are late or absent because of weather conditions.
